Recognition that reaches technicians everywhere

Logi-technic, an outsourcing company with more than 500 technicians spread across the country, faced a familiar challenge: how do you ensure fair and consistent appreciation in an organisation where employees rarely gather in one place? Together with Arteel, Logi-technic found a solution that is efficient, personal and future-proof.

From manual lists to a fair system

“Our people work at customer sites all over Belgium,” says Margot Flament, HR Business Partner at Logi-technic. “That makes it difficult to centrally manage moments of appreciation. Everything happened manually in Excel and depended on whoever happened to be following things up. Because of that, some employees were sometimes forgotten, and that didn’t feel right.”

Previously, each manager celebrated anniversaries or births in their own way. The intention was good, but the result was inconsistent: some employees received gifts, others only an email.

“Appreciation should not depend on who your manager is. It must be fair, recognisable and consistent.” — Margot Flament, HR Business Partner Logi-technic

Switching to the Arteel platform brought uniformity and structure. By managing recognition moments centrally, Logi-technic now has a system that reaches everyone—from technicians on site to colleagues at the office.

A platform that combines freedom and personality

The choice for Arteel was initiated by COO Lies Dumarey, who recognised the importance of a standardised approach without losing the human touch.

With the spinner system (a form of reward points based on the company’s spinner logo, ed.) milestones such as birthdays, births and anniversaries are rewarded. Employees can exchange their points for a gift of their choice.

“It sounds simple,” Margot says, “but it makes an enormous difference. In the past, people would receive champagne even if they didn’t drink. Now they choose something that truly fits them. That makes appreciation personal and relevant.”

In addition, e-learning modules and campaigns like Compliment Day are also rewarded with extra spinners, meaning employees experience appreciation not only during major moments, but throughout the year.

“The platform is more than a gift solution. It creates connection, even though our people work in different locations.”

Warmth delivered to their doorstep

Logi-technic values a personal touch. For major events such as a birth, the employee receives a physical gift at home, such as a baby box in the corporate style. Managers receive a notification to add a personal message, ensuring each gesture feels genuine.

Employee feedback is positive. “They especially appreciate that they can choose for themselves,” says Margot. “For some, the concept of ‘spinners’ was a bit abstract at first, but once they received their first gift, that feeling disappeared. Then you see enthusiasm grow.”

Efficiency for HR, impact for employees

What once took hours of work now happens automatically through one platform. HR no longer has to manually track birthdays or anniversaries.

“The system gives us the certainty that no one is forgotten. That brings peace of mind and confidence, both for HR and for our managers.” — Margot Flament

The collaboration with Arteel runs smoothly, thanks in part to Tommy, their dedicated Arteel contact. “His service is excellent,” says Margot. “He understands our reality, thinks pragmatically and responds quickly. That makes a big difference in our daily operations.”

From ad hoc to a culture of appreciation

Today, Logi-technic uses the Arteel platform not only for milestones but also for spontaneous actions. A holiday campaign with extra spinners for Christmas is coming up, as well as a year-end review to evaluate the platform’s usage and discover new opportunities.

“Thanks to Arteel, appreciation is now structurally embedded with us,” concludes Margot. “It’s no longer a standalone gesture, but a part of who we are as an employer.”
